How to Conduct an Annual Review and Update
You will begin your annual review by taking an abridged version of the readiness index questionnaire. Please download and complete the Annual Readiness Index Review form. This will serve both as a "refresher course", reminding you of the topics and critical concerns addressed in the training, and will also help you to identify any new issues or needs that have developed since you last reviewed your plans.
Once you have completed the annual readiness index evaluation, download the document, Annual Review Checklist. This will help you to ensure that you haven't missed any important areas.
In your annual review you will:
- Examine your Readiness Index score (at least annually)
- Is your score significantly different from last year?
- Are there any items that stand out?
- Review Plan documentation (at least annually).
- Update Plan documentation and make sure everyone is aware of new or changed information.
- Have you had significant changes in staff, volunteers, community partners, etc.?
- Address any changes in your organization's mission/programs or its operating environment.
