About the Training - A Brief Introduction

The training program offered here has been designed to provide your organization with the tools you'll need to develop resilience - the capacity to quickly respond to and recover from a broad array of unexpected disruptive events. It has been created with the hectic environment and competing priorities of typical non-profit organizations in mind. The complexities of continuity planning are presented gradually, gently guiding you through the process. By the time you complete the training you will have developed a comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery plan.

Take a moment to pause and think about how good that would feel!

About the creators of this tool

This tool represents the third iteration of the continuity planning and disaster response training materials that have been developed for non-profit organizations by University of Dallas students as part of its Graduate School of Management Capstone Experience program. The version of the training material presented here has been developed by Lisa Bartsch (Information Assurance), James Bishop (Information Assurance), and Kevin Smith (Not-for-Profit Management). Professor Sandra Blanke was the team's advisor and guide, and Dr. Elizabeth McGrady provided additional assistance, serving as the team's "client."
