Emergency Response Team
If a disaster or crisis occurs, one or more people in your organization should be designated to lead you through the disaster and recovery efforts.
One person, such as the Executive Director, may have overall responsibility for the organization, but additional employees might be delegated specific responsibilities, such as serving as a liaison with the media or primary contact person and organizer for volunteers.
Use the Emergency Response Team form to document the individual(s) with responsibilities in the event of a disaster. Both employees and volunteers in your organization should be told the person or people they need to contact if a disaster occurs.
