When Don Willeford, executive director of The Plano Community Charity, went to open their resale store on Friday morning, "he noticed something suspicious. 'As I first pulled up, I saw some glass on the side, and I thought maybe some kiddos had broken some glass on the side of the building,' he said. 'I walked in and looked to the counter, and I thought there was something missing.'
"The charity helps about 50 people a month, [the charity's board president Dr. Myrtle] Hightower said, and the robbery will significantly impact the organization's ability to help citizens. She said she was in disbelief someone would rob a charity store."
"It's going to cripple us for some while until we can recoup the loss," Willeford lamented.[1]
